Do you want to know about the
House on the
Hill?

You will wake
on a mountain without

You see you are alone

You will drag your old
bones by the
joints by the
ends to the

winds whipping at your feet, past
the grass you remember
rolling in when
you were too
young to
know

You will knock on the door and wait for
Her. She runs spider webs between
fingers. She will say you are too
late for tea. It was too
strong anyway. She
will offer a chair, she
will insist, she
spins at the
wheel
you

Will ask why

She will brush the hair
from her eyes, she will say

The wind was not cold
enough the sands were not dry
enough to take you
first

But you were naked for
most of your life and
you were never
afraid
of
exposure

Can I leave?
Ask the right question

You will ask what, she
is spinning, she
will say

You.
(you never wanted to the question you never asked)

A deconstruction of deconstruction...more of this to come, hopefully with slightly more coherence. Poetry is fun. This is part of our ongoing weekly workshops, which means a possibility of actually, I don't know, posting? I'll look into this startling development. yea's or nay's for poetry nonsense?
